U.S. in the World: Talking Global Issues With Americans -- A Practical Guide

America is facing critical choices about who it is and wants to be in an increasingly interconnected world -- choices that will have a profound impact on Americans, on other peoples and countries, and on future generations. This guide pulls together facts and arguments and the most effective ways to put them across for advocates of pragmatic, principled, effective and collaborative U.S.

Summary of Surveys on Development Aid, Global Hunger, and Poverty: A Compendium from 2001-2006

This draft document summarizes key findings and critical advice from a widening list of recent polls or surveys of the American public on hunger, poverty and development assistance. We've pulled out what we thought would be useful to global issues advocates. Our goal is to offer survey highlights or striking facts that a spokesperson, speechwriter or CEO might use in preparing remarks or answering a reporter's question.

We want this to be something you might grab on your way out the door, or pull up on the screen while you're on the phone with a journalist. While we've consulted with most of the groups that commissioned these surveys, this document is a draft. Feedback on whether it is helpful, how it can be improved, and what future summaries we should prepare is welcome.
