Taking Doom and Gloom to Task

Katya Andresen quickly explains the danger of doom and gloom messaging in this post noting the International Labor Organization's PSA's about ending human slavery. The site she links to, Houtlust, is one of my favorite for learning about public interest advertising here and abroad. Katya's closer is an excellent formula: "If you scare with scale, you’ll lose. If you empower with feasible steps, you’ll make social change."
